Loved this place and wish we had this on the East Coast. The Sweet Pork Barbacoa on a salad was chefs kiss. Great deal for fast food! Love that they make fresh tortillas too!

This Cafe Rio is one of the best that I’ve gone to. They are always happy and helpful, and the food is amazing. I am thoroughly impressed with the crew there. Will be returning.

Haven't been here for years and surprisingly, food and my experience is actually quite impressive. I avoided CafeRio for a while for I feel like the food was mediocre, kitchen and dining areas were not clean. Fast forward after few years, the food tasted fresh and yummy, kitchen and dining areas are clean and well maintained, crews are friedly. Hopefully, this is consistent with other locations as well

This Cafe Rio has been very busy lately! But the employees have been extremely kind and patient with the customers, despite the hectic atmosphere. Many people come here due to the high-quality food and service that the employees offer. I have had to wait sometimes, but it’s worth it!

This location is near a Trader Joe’s and some other great shopping off of Union Park Avenue. Plenty of parking and rarely too busy. The staff is generally helpful, but doesn’t have the best customer service of other Cafe Rio stores that I have visited. I even got to chat with the manager once and he was pretty dismissive when I brought an issue to his attention. And I get it, nobody wants to be told how to run their restaurant, but listening to customer’s is an important aspect to running a business. A little better leadership and training would take this Cafe rio location to much better bottom lines.

Love cafe rio so much! Rafael helped us out and was extremely friendly. Cottonwood Heights is not usually my usual location but I will 100% be back!

I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and well-kept this Cafe Rio location is compared to others I’ve visited. The space looks fresh and inviting, which made the whole experience even better. I ordered the pulled pork salad — one of my favorites — and it was delicious as always. Cafe Rio is my go-to for a quick, tasty meal, and I’ll definitely be coming back to this Cottonwood Heights spot!

The food is amazing as usual. Portions were as expected. Service was on point, fast, and friendly. The location is perfect as it is in a shopping plaza and parking is ample. They are taking proper measures to ensure safety of all during this pandemic. I am sad that chocolate flan was discontinued. Please bring that back. The tres leches is amazing though. Highly recommend
